The Process:

We provide an accurate quote, once we receive approval, we arrange a time to undertake the work.

The first thing we do is assess the safety aspects of access to and from your roof. Secondly, we use our experience to ensure that we are able to undertake your job in a safe manner. We check for Power lines, RF (Radiofrequency) dishes, skylights etc. We assess the sloping surfaces on the ground at access points to ensure safe footing for ladders.

We set up access to the roof usually by way of extension ladder. The ladder must be at an angle of 1 to 4 (i.e. for every 4 metres up, the ladder must be 1 metre out), It must be secured at the top, with an overhang of 1 metre, and secured at the bottom, (usually with somebody footing the ladder). We have temporary anchor points that can re installed and removed after the job, with no damage to your roof.

Our staff are trained in all Height safety and abseiling skills, they spend an average of one full week each year in training and rescue, and so we are legally authorised, and more importantly “competent” to rig to roof and surrounding structure.
